Nablus, City Under Siege

With much damage and destruction wrought since 2000, Nablus has been a central flashpoint between Tsahal and Palestinian militant groups. The city and the refugee camps constitued the center of "knowhow" for the production and operation of the rockets in the West Bank.

Today there are 7 checkpoints around Nablus, and the IDF incursions are still common in the refugee camps.
