DECEMBER 2008 - Nasser am Salam (35 km East from Fallujah). The Alpha-Company 1-21 "Gators" Platoon shares the Joint Security Station with the Iraqi army. Today most of the area is under control but platoons (backed up by the Iraqi army) still make daily patrols and investigations among the local population.
